2015 Fishing Report

The lake was stocked last spring/summer with close to 50,000 rainbow and rainbow hybrid fingerlings and about 40,000 in 2013. Click here to see the report. Those 2013 fish should be around 10-12 inches by now. Low lake levels may be affecting the growth and survival of these fingerlings and I suspect a full reservoir will help this summer. HXH are a rainbow trout strain, HXN are a cutthroat rainbow cross, BEL are rainbows, SRN are cutthroats.

Fishing is great!

This three pound beauty was 20 inches!  Caught by Sadie and Ellen over Labor Day Weekend.  Ellen hooked it but lost it, so Sadie jumped in and netted it!

Cassandra broke her pole in the morning catching this trophy fish September 17, 2015! She was using a spinner from the store at Groundhog lake.

Grab some poles and head on over!
